VideoFree Studio-owned source code is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. Third-party components keep their own licenses.

AGPL-3.0 (open source)

You are free to run, study, modify, and distribute the source. If you distribute modified versions — or let network users interact with a modified version as a service — you must release the corresponding source under AGPL-3.0.

Commercial license (closed source)

For closed-source integration, enterprise deployment, white-label use, support, or custom development, a separate commercial license is available outside AGPL.

Third-party boundaries

ComfyUI, community nodes, models, LoRAs, fonts, FFmpeg, and other resources are outside VideoFree Studio’s unified license — follow their own terms. Redistribution rights for models and sample files must be verified separately from VideoFree Studio’s source license.

Project attribution, release evidence, and contributor authorization are documented in docs/source-provenance.md and NOTICE in the repository.

Only install plugins from sources you trust. Plugins are trusted local code, not a security sandbox.
